SAFE: "Student Active Follow up Electronically"
SAFE is a very intuitive and flexible solution that primarily provides high security tracking of children during the critical process of commuting from home to school and vice versa, on a daily basis. This solution takes into consideration every worry a parent might have and soothes it with an easy-to-use, yet high tech concept.
SAFE aims to improve the school transportation cycle from safety to timeliness and organization. Parents, school administration, bus drivers, and students all take part in the solution offered by way of the mobile app and simple devices.

SAFE is an extremely easy and intuitive mobile application for parents. A one-time setup to upload the child’s picture, bus speed
alerts, and confirm location on map, ensures a smooth and relaxed experience.
Parents can follow their children on one interface to ensure that the child has boarded the bus,
to monitor speed, and to track movement on the map.
General design of hardware and how it will be installed on the bus:
A fun device that children would love to wear, providing the time, step detection, and Bluetooth. It comes in a variety of colors and needs charging 2-3 times a week.
A robust device that only provides Bluetooth. Its battery can last for more than 1 year and will be permanently placed in the student’s bag.
This double security will reduce any potential failure due to a device bug, dead battery, being
forgotten at home, or providing a weak signal to the Bus Device.
